Groundfighting Skills - focusing on a logical process for developing skills for real world self defence scenarios
KMG Curriculum update - training on the latest updates to the 3 levels of the KMG curriculum
Self Defence Dymanics - focusing on the non-fighting elements of self defence, from identifying the different types of violent situations to the body’s response to stress
We look forward to seeing as many members Krav Maga practitioners of all levels to attend as it will be a great day to mix & meet members from our KMG Ireland community and will also be excellent prep for P & G gradings this year. Full details below……
Ground Skills Development(10:00 - 12:00)
As many Self Defence situations end up on the ground, it is a vital area for all students of self defence to build skills. This session will take a structured, logical approach to building ground-fighting skills, focusing on developing a simplified system and problem-solving process for students which can be used if they ever find themselves grounded by an attacker. Whether you’re new to groundfighting or experienced, this session will help you sharpen your skills while keeping training practical and progressive.
KMG Curriculum Review (12:30 - 14:30)
Stay up to date with the latest KMG P,G&E curriculum updates in this review session. We’ll break down the reasoning behind key techniques and responses in Krav Maga, giving students a deeper understanding of the “why” behind what we do. This is also an open opportunity for students to ask questions about the curriculum, techniques, and their application in real-world scenarios. A perfect session to help prepare for Novembers testings.
Self-Defense Dynamics (15:00 - 17:00)
Self-defense goes beyond physical techniques—understanding violence, situational awareness, and the body’s stress response is just as important as knowing how to fight. In this session, we’ll cover the theory of violence, distinguishing between social and predatory threats, explore situation management strategies, and dive into KMG’s timeline concept of response. This session will give you a stronger mental framework for handling violent encounters before they even become physical.
